Pharmacy Technicians encounter complex problems requiring them to act actively and pro-actively to resolve. Doing so can present unique challenges. In both hospital and community settings, pharmacy technicians interact with a variety of internal and external clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. They also must adhere to various institutional policies and procedures while working within their scope of practice. In this course, students apply their knowledge and skills to identify, analyze, assess, and resolve a variety of complex problems that may be faced in each setting. Students are presented with a variety of examples from both hospital and community settings and will apply a systematic, collaborative approach to addressing them.
